As far as I know, uMhlanga Main Beach is open 24/7. I’ve been there a few times, and it seems to be accessible at all hours. However, other beaches like uMhlanga Rocks Beach and Bronze Beach typically operate from 5 AM to 8 PM.

Regarding lifeguard duty, they are usually present at the main beach and Bronze Beach, but their hours vary. During the summer months, lifeguards are typically on duty until around 6 PM.

One additional point to note is that it’s always a good idea to visit the beach during daylight hours when lifeguards are present, especially if you’re planning to swim or engage in water activities. This can help ensure a safer experience.
