There is so much to see in this lovely tiny town. The Umhlanga Promenade is another wonderful seaside path just north of Durban. The beach is lined with a beautiful brick promenade.
This is extremely popular among everyone, particularly those who like a morning walk. Jogging, etc., with the Umhlanga Lighthouse and Whalebone Pier as its focal points.
The walkway begins at Durban View Park in the south and continues for 2.5 kilometers to Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve.A lovely spot to explore, really intriguing, and safe. As you go, you will come across several eateries.
